Mzungu Project BackgroundThis education project was born out of the quest of a single person to provide a future to poor children in remote areas and war torn countries, proving that one person can make a difference in Africa. One of the best ways of making a difference is by pulling the trigger on one of the most powerful weapons against underdevelopment: Education. Jose Antonio Ruiz Diez, a native of Spain, built a school in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) a few years ago in an effort to give back. That endeavor inspired many, and now he has opened the doors to this collective education project in the hope of building even more schools for children in need. This project is being executed outside of NGOs, foundations or other entities so that all contributions go directly to the children’s school and so that operational efficiencies are maximized. How You Can ParticipateWe are all invited to participate in the Mzungu Project and there are many ways to make a difference in Africa. If you have questions before making a donation for this DRC education project, please do not hesitate to contact me. We can arrange a Skype call to go in further detail too. My doors are always open.
